Yes, “the” Dr. Drew Pinsky (TV psychiatrist) who apologized to Tom Cruise for calling him a Nazi! This time, he targeted the very pregnant Angelina Jolie. In his interview with Playboy’s July issue, the controversial doctor said:
“I’m concerned with what’s really going on with Angelina Jolie. I’ve never seen someone remit heroin completely. You’re either still on heroin, Oxycontin or something else. Unless you’re dead. Is she still using something? Is she in recovery? If she’s in recovery, I don’t see any evidence of it, because people in recovery invest themselves in simple, selfless acts of service, not global self-serving acts.”
What?? No evidence of recovery? Is bagging Brad Pitt and raising four kids while making movies and giving time to charities at that NOT evidences of recovery?? Man, maybe Dr. Drew is the one on drugs! LOL! And maybe he should apologize to Angie too, arghh!

is he really a doctor?! I was not a very big fan of angelina. at first i perceived as someone who was wild an untamed and yes, on drugs. but ever since she adopted her first son, i saw a change in her - not on her looks but on the expression on her face. she became more serene and at peace with herself. i admire her now.

It’s interesting to read the comments to this article. Some appear not to have paid a lot of attention to the text quoted.
Drew Pinsky is a doctor with vast experience in addiction medicine, The statement He made to playboy is based in the conduct he have seen in the -let’s say- 20 thousand (extrapolating the data from the early 2k’s), persons he have treated in addiction medicine.
He didn’t mention her thinness, he didn’t even affirmed she’s using heroine, he manifested a doubt created by the conjunction of factors observed in her behavior.
On the more trivial side and answering your doubts:
he’s a 50 years old, very fit and muscular, board certified physician, hospital director and sporadically a university professor, he’s married and father to triplets.
Most of you defending Angelina are idiots, the rest of you defenders are just plain pathetic. A person who has used or possibly abused drugs can still be highly functional or at least appear that way. None of us live day to day with Angelina, so defending her is absurd, shes laughing all the way to the bank. The rest of you basing your retorts on Drew’s possible homosexuality, are utterly disgusting. Him possibly being gay has nothing to do with his opinion.
