And what’s that gotta do with Angelina Jolie?? Well, the pregnant actress has revealed she used to “experiment” with knives with a former-boyfriend when she was younger coz she was curious about vampires. Angelina Jolie has shared how her interest in knives as a teenager left her with scars on her abdomen and thigh. She reveals,

“When I was 14, I collected knives. My first boyfriend and I ended up getting into some fighting in bed and being silly. People think that happens every time I go to bed. It was actually something he never wanted to do again. It was a mistake and we really hurt ourselves. It was just being young, you know, when you’re curious about vampires and that kind of thing. Just experimenting. It was an accident and I ended up in hospital.”

OMG!!! Hospital?? Angie sure is a danger to herself! I wonder how she’d react if Shiloh will be like her in the near future. Hehe!

PSA is public service announcement dear readers =) And the very pregnant Angelina Jolie recorded one for World Refugee Day (held on June 20) to help raise awareness about the plight of millions of people at risk. The “Wanted” actress joined UN’s refugee agency during a February 2001 visit to war-torn Sierra Leone in West Africa, prior to filming Beyond Borders with Clive Owen. Since then, Angelina Jolie has been the Goodwill Ambassador to UNHCR, the UN refugee agency. You can view her PSA below:

In the PSA above, Angelina Jolie explains what life is like for millions around the world while emotive scenes of refugees flash on the screen. Here’s what she says: “They have survived war, they have survived displacement, they have survived rape, they have survived hunger and disease. For those who have survived and for those who did not, we are thinking of you on this day.”

Pretty soon you’ll have six kids all under the age of 8. Have you thought about how you’re physically going to be able to handle that?

Well, we weren’t expecting twins! So it did shock us, and we jumped to six quickly. But we like a challenge. We really don’t know. His mom and dad are on standby to come out and help. And fortunately we can hire help if we need it, but we’re going to try as we usually do to balance it as well as we can. The only thing for us when a new child comes home is just balancing the others. Our real focus now is: How do we make sure that the babies’ coming is not upsetting to other kids and makes them feel included. They’re old enough to feel included to change diapers themselves, to feed bottles themselves, like if I pump into a bottle. We’re trying to find ways where it can be a fun group thing. But the hard thing is every single day trying to find time for each of them privately. ‘Cause that’s our big thing. With our eldest, we have that last half an hour at night; Shiloh tends to be the first up in the morning. Everybody gets special time so we can make sure we know where they’re at.

What would be your ideal way to spend a free Saturday?

I have a lot of those. Very simple things. On weekends we usually have family sleep. We always have one night a week where everybody stays up late, watches a movie, and stays in our bed. We have, like, a slumber party.

Is there intense competition among the kids as to who sleeps where?

Yeah, but it’s funny: The boys tend to want to be near Mommy [Angelina Jolie] and the girls tend to want to be near Daddy [Brad Pitt]. So it works out nicely.

What did you make of all the brouhaha over Jack Black’s spilling that you were having twins on the Today show?

Poor Jack! Immediately when he saw Brad, he apologized. But we both told him very clearly that we had only waited because, as you do with any baby, but especially twins, you wait until all results are in on their health, and that we were past that point and if somebody had asked me directly, I would have said yes. So he didn’t do anything but take the heat himself.

After her recent blockbuster success with the kiddie-oriented flick Kung Fu Panda, the pregnant actress is apparently being lined up to star in the new Muppets movie. The beautiful Angelina Jolie has reportedly been approached to feature in the film because she is such a huge fan of the Jim Henson creations. A source said:

“The idea is to re-launch the Muppets with a big name and a big movie. Angelina is a big Muppets fan and being so passionate about kids there’s a very real chance that she’ll take this project on. Even Brad might want to have Miss Piggy as a love interest!”

Angelina Jolie has previously revealed she thinks she looks like one of the comical puppets. She has said:

“I am odd-looking. I sometimes think I look like a funny Muppet!”

The Muppets started life on their own TV show which became a worldwide hit and eventually spawned a host of movies. Angie wouldn’t be the first celebrity to appear alongside the mischievous puppets. Rocker Alice Cooper, the late Johnny Cash and Diana Ross were all guests on the series.

And guess what Angelina Jolie got him?? Well, we don’t know! Hehe! The pregnant actress revealed in her Entertainment Weekly magazine interview that Brad Pitt is the hardest person to buy a gift for. Angelina Jolie shared,

“Brad is the hardest person to shop for. ‘He has impeccable design taste. And whenever he sees something he likes, he buys it for himself.”

Tsk! That’s what you get when the man you love has oodles of money and taste to boot! As for Brad’s most recent gift to her — yes, that gun-charm necklace she wore to her EW photo shoot at left — Angie shares how it came about:

”Mad, our 6-year-old, draws lots of war scenarios. He’s all into war and guns. So for Mother’s Day he drew a machine gun, and Brad had it made into a necklace, which is really sweet. It’s really cute. I think it’s really good!”

Yeah, gun = cute! LOL! Angelina Jolie is definitely one unique woman huh?? =) Read on below for Brad Pitt’s latest tattoo. Yes, the pregnant actress has something to do about it!

What’s the deal with Brad’s new tattoo? “I drew that. We went to Davos. It’s not that we were bored at the World Economic Forum, but one night we didn’t have anything to do, so I was drawing on his back.”

So it’s not permanent? “It is. But I was just sketching.”

On him? “On him, yeah.”

And you thought, ”Let’s make it a tattoo”? “He just liked it! The picture everybody saw was kind of awkward, but it just lines up beautifully on his back, just enhances the part of the body I like.”

So it doesn’t mean anything per se. “I mean, it’s meaningful in that it’s us making angles and shapes out of each other’s body, that kind of a thing.”

That’s Entertainment Weekly magazine for you! And man, did Angelina Jolie gave a very candid interview to them! Yeah, she talked about how’s sex with Brad Pitt! And yes, they’re even doing it while she’s pregnant! LOL! Angie’s interview was done while she was checking out a window display of Corum watches at the Grand-Hôtel du Cap-Ferrat in the south of France. Here are some delicious excerpts from Angie’s interview –

On people saying being pregnant is bad for one’s sex life: “No, I think it’s quite the opposite. It’s great for the sex life. It just makes you a lot more creative. So you have fun, and as a woman you’re just so round and full.”

What would you say are the best and worst things about being pregnant? “It’s all just so nice. You just really can’t complain about anything as long as you know the babies are looking healthy. The only thing that’s hard for me now is with twins and having four kids, there’s a lot of the doctor saying ”Stop picking them up as much.” But we’ve worked out a system where Brad just lifts them to me every time they want to come up. I just don’t bend down. I’ll scream, ”Honey!” and he’ll come running and lift them up. Or they climb on chairs, so it’s not as big of a lift. So we’re trying to follow doctor’s orders, but I’m bending them a tiny bit.”

You and Brad aren’t married. How do you refer to each other? “We have that problem all the time. I say ”partner” sometimes. ”Father of my children” is too long. But half the time people refer to us as, ”So, your wife this, your husband that.” We’ve stopped correcting everybody. It’s not a big intentional thing not to marry. We immediately were a family when we became a couple, and children were the priority, and we’re both legally committed to the children. And that seemed to be the right thing.”

The upscale knitwear company is not renewing the pregnant actress’ spokesmodel contract, saying it’s “time to do something new and different.” The brand’s chief executive officer Glenn McMahon tells Women’s Wear Daily,

“It was a great run we had with Mario Testino, David Lipman and, of course, Angelina Jolie. Three years is a long time to maintain any campaign, and we felt it was time to do something new and different. [The campaign] ties in nicely to our whole rebranding initiative.”

Last September, the company rep denied Angelina Jolie had been fired — saying she’d appear in the Spring 2008 campaign (which she did). The Kung Fu Panda signed on as the face of St. John in September 2005. Four unknown models will apparently replace Angie and debut in the New York City-themed ads this fall, starting in August’s Vanity Fair.

When her twins will come, all her other four kids will surely be neglected by the media. So before everything goes to the way of the twins, Angelina Jolie shared her wonderful experience with her first natural-born kid, Shiloh Jolie-Pitt. Here’s what she shared:

“We were in this little hospital in Africa when Shi was born. I don’t think there was anybody else in the hospital. It was just a little cottage, the three of us. It ended up being the greatest thing. We had wonderful doctors and nurses. It was lovely, very personal, all three in this sweet room. We had an American doctor with us, who had met the Namibian doctors, and they worked in tandem because it was a C-section and my first and we didn’t know the country. He spent a few weeks with us. There was only one pediatrician in town, and one anesthesiologist, who had to come in for that—you have to plan it.”

As for Shiloh’s name, where did Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt got that? We all know that the actress named her three adopted kids with meaningful ones. Angie revealed,

“It’s a biblical name, but we didn’t name her for that. It was a name my parents almost named their first child—there was a miscarriage: Shiloh Baptist. Because my father had been shooting in Georgia and that was the most southern name [my parents] could come up with. It’s a name I always liked. I used to go under it in hotels: Shiloh Baptist. I’d gone under it when [Brad] called hotel rooms where I was staying.”

Yes, she commands millions per movie (around $12-15 million) — and she’s worth every penny, according to US Weekly’s film critic. Thelma Adams says of Angelina Jolie,

“Overall, she is worth the millions that she’s paid. She really is a good actress, and one of the sexiest women alive. Plus, she’s got the kids and Brad Pitt — she’s a triple word score!”

So true! If her acting can’t command attention for her movies, then her much-celebrated life will! And Angelina Jolie’s animated movie Kung Fu Panda just knocked Sex and the City out of first place this weekend, raking in $60 million. Her last film Beowulf, which opened in November, was also No. 1 with $28 million in earnings. This just balances out the paltry $9 million earnings (domestic) for her critically acclaimed movie A Mighty Heart. Ms. Adams adds,

“Right now, she could have a cameo in a video and get tons of attention. Kung Fu Panda would have made a ton of money either way — it was such a huge family film — but it wouldn’t have broken a sweat in Cannes except for Angelina Jolie on the carpet pregnant with twins.”

How will they ever appreciate that?? But, of course, if you are Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, you will spare no expense when it comes to the nursery of your much-anticipated twins. In fact, the expecting celebrity parents have reportedly spent $140,000 to create the twins’ nursery! Brad and the very pregnant Angelina apparently bought most of the essentials at chic Los Angeles baby store, Petit Tresor. Some of the luxury items the twins will enjoy include organza bassinets for $800, Versailles-style cribs for $3,200, and armoires for $4,500 each.

The twins will also enjoy two pink crystal chandeliers, which set back the couple almost $900 for each of the sparkling light fixtures. WOW! I’m pretty sure the girls will love the pink hue, hehe! Even the toys were high-end — Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie picked up a few baby toys made out of cashmere. Wow, cashmere! I never even had touch one in my entire life, LOL! Their large purchase reportedly took a team of three employees from the store to assemble. Oh well, if you have the money.. =)
