According to Life & Style magazine, Tom Cruise has apparently embarked on a “secret feud” with Hollywood power couple Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie. The Top Gun actor — who is married to former Dawson’s Creek actress Katie Holmes — is allegedly letting his “competitive streak” run wild, and is constantly trying to outdo Brad and Angelina. Hello?? How can he outdo the six instant kids?? LOL! A source tells Life & Style magazine in its latest issue,

“It seems as though Tom’s always trying to compete with Brad, and that’s a difficult job. All the negative press Tom gets over Scientology and the rumors about how his relationship with Katie was fake have left him with the sense that he’s not, you know, as beloved anymore.”

The source further drives home the point with –

“And Brad has these causes – save the children, rebuild New Orleans, donate to charity – while Angelina‘s practically St. Angelina these days. How do you compete with that?”

According to reports, Angelina Jolie will be making her FIRST live post-twins public appearance in the US towards the end of the month to promote her upcoming Clint Eastwood directed film Changeling. And she is getting styled for it as early as now! =) Reports coming out say that it’s her long time stylist Jen Rade who will help her find the best look. Jen told People,

“It’ll be Angelina Jolie‘s first big US appearance since having the babies. I feel some pressure, but I think I can do it. We’ve been doing it for five years together.”

Jen Rade also ooks forward to the challenge of styling the nursing mother of six. She says,

“She’s breastfeeding so the boobs are bigger…It’s going to be fun. I’m looking forward to it.”

She concludes that it’s not tough to talk to Angelina Jolie over the phone and discuss her styling options though “any time you talk to her there’s a lot of kids in the background.”

Aww, he’s to sweet for words eh?? Angelina Jolie is really lucky to have him! I really wish them well and that their union will last.. =) Anyway, after appearing in the Venice Film Festival, Brad Pitt is now at the Toronto International Film Festival to attend the gala screening of his new comedy film “Burn After Reading” with George Clooney. The hunky actor plays a knucklehead fitness employee in the movie which will surely make the audiences laugh! Hehe! And when asked what makes him chuckle in real life, Brad Pitt told PEOPLE: “My kids!”
The actor also related that everybody back in France, Angelina Jolie and their six kids, are all alright. Brad Pitt revealed,

“Everyone is healthy. No sleep though. Sleep is something you long for, but it’s alright. We’ll get it.”

His co-star Tilda Swinton (she has twins too!) butted in and advised, “It gets easier! And it’s true.” And what kind of a father does she think Brad is? “He’s fantastic,” said Swinton. Costar John Malkovich chimed in: “He was very doting with his daughter during shooting on a couple of days I was there. He’s very much a present parent.” ^_^

Two movie posters for Angelina Jolie‘s latest action film “Wanted” have been banned by the U.K.’s Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) because the sexy, weapon-baring promotional images glamorize the use of guns and violence and are unsuitable for children. According to reports, 17 complaints from the public were filed against the posters, one of which has Angelina Jolie draped over the hood of a car brandishing guns. In another poster, costar James McAvoy is pointing two pistols directly toward the camera, above what the ASA deemed to be “aspirational text.” The ASA said in a statement:

“We acknowledged most viewers would understand the posters reflected the content of an action film. However, we considered that because the ads featured a glamorous actress, action poses, several images of, or related to guns and aspirational text, they could be seen to glamorize the use of guns and violence.”

And they were a new entry at that! Amazing huh?? The Daily Telegraph reported last Wednesday that Vanity Fair’s annual list of the world’s 100 most powerful and influential people listed Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt in their top 10. The list is scheduled to appear in the October issue of the magazine.

That’s what In Touch is reporting on their latest cover page! While Brad Pitt is out gallivanting in Venice and Cannes, Angelina Jolie is back home and struggling to cope following the birth of her two-month-old twins Vivienne Marcheline and Knox Leon. Sources claim the Wanted actress is exhausted by the sleepless nights and has called in doctors over concerns for her newborns’ health. National Enquirer is reporting that Viv and Knox are suffering from colic, a common but largely unexplained condition that causes repeated episodes of excessive and inconsolable crying in babies.

Anyway, In Touch magazine further reports that its the twins’ constant state of distress that has caused Angelina Jolie to slip into ‘depression mode’, prompting fears she may be suffering post-partum depression. According to a source,

“[Angelina Jolie] has been trying to control her emotions [around her older children] her mood swings have been hard on the entire family. She has been staying in bed most of the time, all she does is sleep. She has little energy and has to force herself to remember to eat because she is still breast feeding. She cries at the drop of a hat and laughs at inappropriate times. Everyone around her is hoping that she will talk to someone about how she is feeling.”

Guess she cant get enough of all things French eh?? After all, her darling mom (now deceased) is a mademoiselle ^_^ Anyway, according to reports, Angelina Jolie is keen to further cement the French connection by starring in a French film. The mother of six has been studying the French language for years and apparently told a German magazine that she would like to appear in a French-language production. Angie shared,

“When I can speak (the language), then maybe I’ll audition for a French film. I truly am interested – more and more fantastic films are coming out of Europe.”

You think Angelina Jolie would fit in a French movie? Me thinks so! Her beauty is at par with the classic female looks that the French audience love =) So why hasn’t she worked in Europe already? Angie admitted, “No one has asked me yet!” Well, now that you’ve made your interest known, I’m sure they’ll coming knocking at your doorstep!

Just one day after insulting Jon Voight, Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt on her blog, to comedienne “sort of” apologized to Hollywood’s top couple — but she didn’t extend the peace sign to the Jon. The elderly actor has also slammed Roseanne Barr in reaction to her post via a statement to a TV show. Anyway, back to Roseanne’s “apology”. Last Tuesday, in a blog post titled “I do not know Brangelina,” the former TV star wrote:

“[I] do not mean to personally impugn them as they might be good people in the flesh, but the media’s images of them are smelly and vile, and I must always attack the media’s representation of what is good or cool.”

Roseanne Barr further blogged, lashing out against bloggers and the media, who were quick to report on her vile remarks. She said:

“Those who inhabit the media world of glamour and entertainment and fashion and gossip are horrid people who have no talent of any kind, and yet think of themselves as tastemakers.”

In the blog post that drew severe reactions, the comedienne criticized Angelina Jolie for stating that she was undecided on a presidential candidate and was waiting to hear more information. Roseanne Barr also took aim at Brad Pitt, calling him “vacuous,” and noted that the couple make “forty million dollars a year in violent psychopathic movies and give away three of it to starving children,” referring to the Jolie-Pitt Foundation, which has raised millions for charitable causes.
