First of all, I appreciate that Angelina Jolie never changes. She loves a sack dress, always and forever. No matter the occasion – awards season red carpet or just an international flight – there’s always a sack dress to fit the mood. These are photos of Angelina arriving in Sarajevo on Saturday. She brought Shiloh, Pax and I think Zahara (is that Empress Z behind Jolie?) to Sarajevo from England, where Angelina is filming Maleficent in a series of cow pastures (???). Angelina made the trip with three of her kids – and no Brad!!! – because In The Land of Blood and Honey was being screened at the 18th Sarajevo Film Festival, and Angelina was designated a “special guest”. She was also in town to receive her honorary citizenship!

Lest you think that Angelina merely arrived in her long, black red carpet sack and didn’t bother changing for her appearance at the film festival – you’re wrong! Angelina did change. You can see the photos of her appearance here. She also flashed her giant engagement ring which… I’m sorry, I still don’t really like. Maybe it’s just the lighting, but the diamonds in her ring consistently photograph as a really weird/ugly yellowish color. Us Weekly reports that during Jolie’s appearance, she spoke with “young actors, directors, screenwriters, producers and film critics from the region about her own writing and directorial debut.” One of the students said they were “impressed” and Angelina even fielded questions about her work with the UNHCR.
