According to reports, Angelina and Brad are heading towards Phillipines for baby number seven. The couple’s plans to adopt a Burmese baby, have hit a deadlock, after facing strict adoption controls from the Burmese authorities. The parents of six have now set their sights on the Phillipines.

Angelina, 33, took time off from the set of her latest film, Salt, to travel to Manila with the intention of adding to her rainbow family. The couple’s private jet landed at Ninoy Aquino International Airport last week, after Angelina, 33, took time off from the set of her latest film, Salt, to travel to Manila. A source said:

‘Brad and Ange flew out together. They want to add to their family and tried to adopt from Burma but the authorities are very strict, so they decided to look at the Philippines.’

A spokesperson for Pitt and Jolie declined to comment.

Not all seems to be right in the Brangelina household . According to reports, Angelina Jolie has reportedly put on hold her plans to extend their brood due to her troubled relationship with Brad. There were recent speculations that the couple were planning to adopt an Indian child. However, the constant tiffs between the couple have forced them to put their adoption plans on hold.

Their tension is becoming increasingly obvious at the sets, where Angelina is shooting for her new film ‘Salt’. During one heated phone call Angelina was heard telling Brad:

“Will you please respect the fact that I am working right now?” and “All you have to do today is watch the kids. Will you please do it?”

The couple have even asked Angelina’s brother James Haven to act as mediator, who fears that her famous sister “may sabotage the best thing she’s ever had and walk out on Brad.” A source tells that during one bust up,

“Poor James was trying to say, ‘Come on, that’s not fair,’ and they ended up talking right over him.”

The whole thing seems to be affecting Angelina a lot, who is said to have collapsed on the sets. As another insider puts it:

“The whole cast can tell something’s not right between them,”

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt are planning to raise their own slumdog millionaire, after reports revealed about the couple’s plans to adopt an Indian child. She and husband Brad, 45, already have three adopted children: Maddox, eight, from Cambodia; Pax, five, from Vietnam and Zahara, four, from Ethiopia.

The couple had also visited an orphanage during their last visit to India in November 2006, where they spent more than an hour, distributing toys and meeting children. They also have three biological kids — Shiloh, two, and eight-month-old twins Vivienne and Knox.

Angie had met Slumdog Millionaire child stars Azharuddin and Rubina Ali, nine, backstage in Los Angeles after Slumdog won eight Oscars. To a query asked by Azharuddin as to whether Angie was planning to raise an Indian orphan, Angelina is reported to have said:

“Well, I’ll let you into a little secret, we will soon.”

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt are apparently friends with Jamie and his wife Jools, and that the chef admires the Hollywood couple for their “humbling” decision to adopt. Thus, despite having two children of his own, the celebrity chef has spoken of his wish to have a son and said he would be prepared to adopt. Jamie Oliver recently shared,

“I live at home with three girls and I need a bit of testosterone. If I can’t produce a boy I will have to adopt one. I would consider it. We have two beautiful, healthy girls and we cherish them. But I’d be lying if I said it wouldn’t be great to have a boy.”

According to reports, the Olivers and the Jolie-Pitts have met before, and Jamie even cooked for Brad on a visit to England some years ago. He says of the Jolie-Pitts: “Adoption is such a selfless act and they have a lovely family environment. It’s humbling and beautiful to see. And it’s not gonna be Chinese orphans as what was widely reported the past few weeks! This time, the rumor is that Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt are getting a little girl from Africa! Womans Day reports that despite their twins Knox and Vivienne being just six weeks old, the Jolie-Pitts are already in the FINAL stages of adopting their seventh child — supposedly to give Zahara a playmate and not feel estranged as she’s the only one dark-skinned in the family. Both Pax and Maddox are tanned Asians while the rest are creamy whites like Angie and Brad. Jane Pitt, the actor’s mother, has already expressed concerns about how tired Brangelina are with their two new babies but it seems Angelina Jolie is still determined with the African adoption. A source says,

“Angie never planned to have biological children, she always saw herself adopting. She and Brad made a pact that they’d adopt as soon as possible after the children were born.”

Goodness! And to think she just had twins! But according to Britain’s Daily star, Angelina Jolie (and Brad Pitt, I guess) is *really* already contemplating another adoption. And this time, they want to get a kid from China. Sources said Angie was so devastated by the China earthquake last May that she’s been in touch with relief workers with regards to adopting, and has even received photos of a few orphaned kids. The source revealed,

“She’s made overtures offering a home to one earthquake orphan, or even two if they are siblings.”

Two?? WOW! That would put her brood with Brad Pitt to eight! Will they still have enough time for them? Won’t the other children be jealous? Especially with the arrival of the cutest twins ever? Daddy Brad says it’s not the case, at least for Maddox. The hunky actor shared to Hello magazine that Maddox (shown in the mag looking down at Knox in his arms and has a blue streak in his hair) has been “asking when we can have more.” LOL!

GOLLY! Come August, the Jolie-Pitt bunch will number six lil people — but Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are not fazed by that number and say they still want more for their family! During the recent Cannes Festival, the pregnant actress revealed,

We keep thinking, ‘is there ever going to be a time when we don’t have kids in the house?’ Maybe we’ll eventually start a foster home or something. We have a clinic that handles children so there are ways of looking after kids without actually physically having them in your home and we’re doing more and more of that. But I think we will adopt again. I’d like to do it again.

Guess it’s all okay coz Angelina Jolie did admit they have multiple nannies to care for their children — though she insists they do not spend the night. Thus, requiring her and Brad Pitt to really spend time and take care of their children themselves. Angie shared,

“When I’m working, Brad’s home with the children and vice versa. We do have nannies that help us, but nobody spends the night. We also spend a lot of time completely alone with our children. We’ve kind of found a balance.”

Last Wednesday, Hollywood supercouple Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie were seen having a dinner date with Clint Eastwood and his wife. The occasion? The adoption of their 4-year-old son, Pax Thien was finally official! =) TMZ reports,

“After receiving permission from Vietnam, where Pax Thien was born, the adoption needed approval from the L.A. County Children’s Court in Monterey Park, California.”

And that court approval was received by Brangelina last February 20. They soon headed out to Brentwood, California where they celebrated. According to “Jefe” at zimelela.net, Brad and Angie were over an hour late for their reservation. He related,

“… just a sighting of Brad Pitt. With Angelina Jolie. And Clint Eastwood. They were over an hour late for their reservation at the restaurant we had just finished eating at, and thus got turned away. They handled it very well, casually walking out and [went] across the street to a mid-market Italian joint.”
