The usually reserved actress was smiling and waving enthusiastically at the crowd who watched her leave (with Brad Pitt) after the 2008 Independent’s Spirit Awards last February 23. It was there where Angelina Jolie unveiled her pregnancy bump. And according to the tabloids, the couple and their family are quite happy with the pregnancy. A source close to Brad and Angie has told People magazine that Brangelina are “thrilled to be adding to their brood.” Another insider adds, “They are very, very happy.” We are very happy too gurl!! =)

Despite rumors that Angelina Jolie was unhappy and surly during the said awards, pictures in this post disprove it. One person involved with the awards productions said,

“She made it tricky to film because every time the camera cut to her, she looked really surly. We kept cutting away quickly.”

One person seated near Angelina Jolie agrees that she didn’t seem happy to be there. “When Angie was pregnant with Shiloh, she was all giggles, it was such a nice change. Throughout the whole show, she just seemed irritated.” One person who did bring a smile to her face was Daniel Day Lewis. The source revealed,

“Every time he was around she light up.”

Oscars host Jon Stewart, in one of his many funny monologues, poked fun of the pregnant Angelina Jolie. He said during the Academy Awards night,

“Earlier, I mentioned there were two very famous quite pregnant actresses here tonight. Actually, I was incorrect. I’ve become aware that there’s a third. Jessica Alba is pregnant, Cate Blanchett is pregnant and Nicole Kidman is pregnant.”

Continuing his joke, Jon gave out an imaginary Oscar:

“The baby goes to…. (drumroll) Angelina Jolie! On my god, Angelina Jolie. I’m just stunned. It goes to Angelina Jolie! That’s terrific. Obviously Angelina couldn’t be with us tonight–it’s tough to get 17 babysitters on Oscars night. I’ll accept this baby on her behalf.”

IT’S OFFICIAL!!! Angelina Jolie is truly, really pregnant! The “A Mighty Heart” actress showed off her baby bump in a form-fitting black dress (by Western Costume) at the 2008 Film Independent’s Spirit Awards held at Santa Monica Beach last Saturday in Santa Monica, California. By Angie’s side is the uber-yummy Brad Pitt in plaid pants. The mom-to-be finished off her silk-crepe dress with Irene Neuwirth jewels and Christian Louboutin shoes. But despite displaying her revealing figure, Angelina Jolie’s spokesperson has refused to confirm speculation that the actress is indeed expecting a child. Angie is thought to be around four months pregnant with twins.

Not surprising eh?? Hehe! In a new survey conducted by Forbes magazine, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have been named Hollywood’s most influential couple. Kate Moss and Pete Doherty finished in second place, despite ending their relationship last July. Forbes magazine examined press cuttings and online stories about high-profile couples to determine which had the greatest impact on popular culture. Angie and Brad topped the survey because of their humanitarian acts, growing family and “likeability” as a couple. Way to go guys!!! =) Other couples on the list included Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes, Demi Moore and Ashton Kutcher, and Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban. David and Victoria Beckham finished in eleventh place.

We all expected that didn’t we?? LOL! Anyway, this “award” is from the Kama Sutra Company, a leading manufacturer of romance and intimacy products. Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie is their first winner for the “Hottest Celebrity Couple of the Year” award. Brangelina also snagged the “Hottest Parents” award. So great!!! =) Anyway, the Kama Sutra Company ran the contest the whole month of January on their website, and invited viewers to vote on their favorite couples. Guess Brad and Angie’s hotness still rules! Way to go lovebirds!

Another film festival and awards night — this time, Angelina Jolie’s outfit was kinda disappointing. Just look at that! Just a a plain black blouse and loose-fitting floor-length skirt. Looks real frumpy to me! Or maybe she’s just hiding something under all that folds and looseness, hmm.. Still, we love the PINK! Is Angelina Jolie having a baby girl then?? LOL! Too many speculations, I suggest we stop this nonsense now, hehe!

The Santa Barbara Film Festival was held at the Arlington Theatre in Santa Barbara, California last Saturday night (February 2). Angelina Jolie was recognized for her work in A Mighty Heart, and was honored at this year’s festival with the Outstanding Performance of the Year award. While on the red carpet, Angelina Jolie told AP television,

“To be honest, I just heard that it was a beautiful festival, and one to take seriously.”

And they took you seriously too Ange! Congratulations on the award! =)

Angelina Jolie is followed by Scarlett Johansson and Jessica Alba. Hugh Hefner’s three “girlfriends” from the reality show “The Girls Next Door” are in fourth place. And even though Angelina Jolie is first, Holly Madison, Bridget Marquardt and Kendra Wilkinson will be on the cover of Playboy’s March issue. They are, after all, Hefner’s ladies. Other celebs on the sexy list: Jennifer Love Hewitt, Alicia Keys, Cameron Diaz, Beyonce, Christina Aguilera and Britney Spears.

Yes, PDA as in “public display of affection” =) Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt were so sweet in the Critics Choice Awards earlier this month, and their sweetness continued on in the 14th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards last January 27.
