Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt’s relationship woes continue. It has been reported that Angelina slammed Brad after he was found relaxing with beers and DVD, while the nannies had a tough time dealing with the six children downstairs. This happened after Angelina had returned after a long day of shooting. A friend of the actress told Grazia magazine:

‘Angelina was completely and utterly exhausted, so when she came home after a hard day’s work and found Brad had apparently done nothing all day except watch DVDs, she was livid.She went upstairs and shook Brad awake. He was like a bear with a sore head and kept telling her to leave him alone.’

It seems Angelina was shocked about Brad’s carefree behaviour towards the children, and was upset about it. Insiders on her new film Salt said the actress has been reclusive on the set and was seen deep in conversation with her brother James Haven in between takes. It is said that James has been acting as a mediator between the fighting couple.

Over the last few weeks, Angelina has been putting in exhausting hours on the set of spy thriller Salt, while Brad has been looking after their children.

Angie is summarized as an “independent bundle of energy” by old family friend Charles Eastman, 79, who shot her 1997 photographs. The family can be seen in this picture celebrating the 4th brithday of her brother James Haven. When Jolie’s parents separated, her mother Marcheline Bertrand raised both Jolie and her brother James.

Jolie regularly used to watch movies with her mother Marcheline, who is said to have devoted her life to the kids, according to Charles Eastman. Jolie attributes her interest in acting because of watching movies with her mother.

However, she is said to have shared an estranged realtionship with her father Jon Voight and had also dropped the ‘Voight’ from her name. Charles Easton says about the photograph when Jolie, was 23 months old:

“She was kind of in the background that day, After all, who knew she was going to grow up to be Angelina Jolie?”

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt are planning to raise their own slumdog millionaire, after reports revealed about the couple’s plans to adopt an Indian child. She and husband Brad, 45, already have three adopted children: Maddox, eight, from Cambodia; Pax, five, from Vietnam and Zahara, four, from Ethiopia.

The couple had also visited an orphanage during their last visit to India in November 2006, where they spent more than an hour, distributing toys and meeting children. They also have three biological kids — Shiloh, two, and eight-month-old twins Vivienne and Knox.

Angie had met Slumdog Millionaire child stars Azharuddin and Rubina Ali, nine, backstage in Los Angeles after Slumdog won eight Oscars. To a query asked by Azharuddin as to whether Angie was planning to raise an Indian orphan, Angelina is reported to have said:

“Well, I’ll let you into a little secret, we will soon.”

According to reports, Angelina Jolie is planning to donate a generous amount to octo-mom Nadya Suleman. Nadya -the mother of fourteen, has been slammed for ‘pimping out’ her octuplets in the press, reportedly prompting several sponsors to withdraw their support.

The Changeling star - who raises six children herself, with partner Brad Pitt - is said to be extremely concerned about Suleman and her 14 children and is considering helping the family out financially. According to a source for Star Magazine:

“Angelina is worried about the best interests of the kids. As a mom of six, she knows how chaotic and costly raising a big family can be.”

However Angie also seems to be having her own concerns about the situation as well. The source added:

“She doesn’t necessarily approve of Nadya, and she doesn’t want to turn the situation into even more of a circus.”

Nadya has recently also put down claims that she was undergoing plastic surgery to look like Angelina.

However, Angelina Jolie is still missing in action. Tsk! According to People.com, Brad Pitt, Angie and their family of six have left their French home of five months and arrived in Germany, where locals expect them to stay throughout the fall. The Jolie-Pitt’s new address? The posh Palais Parkschloss on Wannsee Lake in Berlin. The family apparently arrived in Berlin Tuesday afternoon on a private plane. An eyewitness told People.com,

“Brad lifted the kids out of the plane and brought them to the transporter. I saw him lift out Shiloh and Zahara.”

The reason for their move is that Brad Pitt is filming Quentin Tarantino’s Inglorious Bastards. The Jolie-Pitt’s new home is nearly 30,000 square feet and includes a boat dock and a helicopter pad. POSH!!!

In the recent issue of British Cosmopolitan magazine, Angelina Jolie spoke about how Brad Pitt copes with being a father to so many children. She revealed,

“Brad is a great dad. It means a lot to me that I have him in my life and be there for our kids. I was prepared to raise them without a father, although I would have preferred to have a man at my side.”

Angelina Jolie shared further,

“That’s one thing I never expected when I got involved with Brad - you can’t know if a man will be a good dad without seeing him in that role. Brad is so good with my first adopted son Maddox and they have bonded in such a beautiful way that it almost makes me cry - and I never cry!”

What a sweet thing to say! I guess motherhood and raising a family really brought out the best in Angelina Jolie eh?? =) The ‘Wanted’ actress recently admitted to British Cosmopolitan magazine that she has grown as a person since becoming a mother. The mum of six revealed,

“I love being a mom. It’s my favorite thing to do. It’s the most fun and challenging thing I have ever done, and I’ve learnt a lot about myself along the way. I have become more patient, for a start.”

Angelina Jolie also added that her kids made her a woman. She explains,

“And my kids have really made me a woman - I just didn’t know I had this softness before, this nurturing side. Also, they remind me to be silly. We play and I laugh with them. So they have taught me to be a woman, but also reminded me to be a little kid, and that’s amazing.”

..is cook! Yup, superwoman that she is (award-winning actress, mother of six, UN ambassador, charity worker, etc), Angelina Jolie just can’t cook! Hehe! And this isn’t just gossip, the ‘Wanted’ actress admitted it herself that she has never been able to master any culinary skills. Angie shared,

“I don’t cook - it’s the one thing I can’t do!”

And so it’s a good thing that her partner, Brad Pitt, loves to cook and is in-charge of family cooking. Angelina Jolie explained,

“When I get away from filming and doing interviews, I join Brad and the children to have breakfast or lunch. Brad is always thinking about the kids and what to feed them for breakfast. For him it’s the most important meal of the day.”

As much as we enjoy her stunts and stuff, Angelina Jolie’s action movies aren’t made for us viewers — it’s for her family and six kids when they will be able to watch them with pride when they’re older. The mother of twins said, “I want to make them proud.” She has starred in action blockbusters like Lara Croft: Tombraider, Mr and Mrs Smith and Wanted. Angelina Jolie even insists on doing all her own stunts in the films so her kids will learn that they can do anything. She shares,

“If there’s a chance I will get killed, I will double-check my harness! I’m responsible these days because of my children. But, at the same time, I know that they’ll see one of my stunts when they’re older, so it gives me all the more reason to do cool things now.”

And that’s being a mother to her rainbow family of six in France =) Despite reports that Angelina Jolie gets hysterical (and therefore not calm) when she can’t see her children minute to minute, her comment to Japan’s Elle magazine refuted this. The mom of six told the magazine,

“I feel like I have found the calmest place in life.”

Awww, too sweet Angie! ^_^ Also, the 33-year old actress believes she has become a stronger woman after becoming a mother to twins. Angelina Jolie said,

“I have become a lot stronger than I used to be. Although it is strange to say myself, I think I have become a better woman.”
