The upscale knitwear company is not renewing the pregnant actress’ spokesmodel contract, saying it’s “time to do something new and different.” The brand’s chief executive officer Glenn McMahon tells Women’s Wear Daily,

“It was a great run we had with Mario Testino, David Lipman and, of course, Angelina Jolie. Three years is a long time to maintain any campaign, and we felt it was time to do something new and different. [The campaign] ties in nicely to our whole rebranding initiative.”

Last September, the company rep denied Angelina Jolie had been fired — saying she’d appear in the Spring 2008 campaign (which she did). The Kung Fu Panda signed on as the face of St. John in September 2005. Four unknown models will apparently replace Angie and debut in the New York City-themed ads this fall, starting in August’s Vanity Fair.

Unisex baby stuff! =) Last week, the Jolie-Pitt family (sans Zahara and Pax Thien) stopped into a Bonpoint boutique in Paris to purchase some toys, and reportedly a few baby items for Brangelina’s upcoming twins. The twins are rumored to be fraternal girls but Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie apparently confided to a shop staffer they don’t want to know the sex of the twins. So the celebrity couple chose a unisex color for their twins’ luxurious Bonpoint stuff: WHITE! Check out what Brangelina bought below:

The pregnant actress had a different fashion style in her second photocall in the Cannes festival. Angelina Jolie wore a very chic all-black ensemble including a scoopneck top, flair-legged trousers and a hipster blazer. So cool for a preggy lady!!! =) And of course, Angie looked uber-chic next to Clint Eastwood, The Changeling’s film director. Enjoy her photos!

She was reported to have an injured ankle, but when the Wanted actress stepped into the Italian eatery Marino Ristorante in Beverly Hills last Thursday afternoon, Angelina Jolie’s ankles looked good. YAY! =) The pregnant actress also looked real beautiful in a yellow Catherine Malandrino dress. Angelina Jolie also wore a “Cooper” shoulder bag in smooth calf and cream by Anya Hindmarch. Her flats are by Repetto.

Guess the rumors are true — pregnant Angie will really be giving birth in Austin, Texas, US of A in 3-4 months! Why? Coz the beautiful Beowulf actress and eldest son Maddox were seen at the Austin airport last Tuesday! As usual, Angelina Jolie and her 6-year old son were surrounded by paparazzi and flashing bulbs. We don’t usually see Angie modeling clothes or endorsing some product. So one wonders why she accepted modeling for St. John, a very upscale clothing brand. According to reports, U.N. goodwill ambassador Angelina Jolie took the modeling job coz it went along with a spokesperson role. She also acts as the voice of the St. John’s charity, which was created in support of children’s issues and causes. Said Richard Cohen, chief executive officer of St. John,

“She’s a mother, actress and a philanthropist.”

Angelina Jolie signed with St. John last September 2005. At the time, she said she was excited about working with the clothing line. She said,

“I am a working mother who has set goals to accomplish a lot in this world. I want my wardrobe to be beautiful, sexy and comfortable all at the same time. St. John is all of those things.”
