We don’t usually see Angie modeling clothes or endorsing some product. So one wonders why she accepted modeling for St. John, a very upscale clothing brand. According to reports, U.N. goodwill ambassador Angelina Jolie took the modeling job coz it went along with a spokesperson role. She also acts as the voice of the St. John’s charity, which was created in support of children’s issues and causes. Said Richard Cohen, chief executive officer of St. John,

“She’s a mother, actress and a philanthropist.”

Angelina Jolie signed with St. John last September 2005. At the time, she said she was excited about working with the clothing line. She said,

“I am a working mother who has set goals to accomplish a lot in this world. I want my wardrobe to be beautiful, sexy and comfortable all at the same time. St. John is all of those things.”

WOW! It’s so strange seeing the stunning Wanted actress looking not so tough and without her tattoos. Angelina Jolie looked beautiful, very demure and every inch the old school Hollywood beauty with her shiny brunette hair piled loosely on top of her head, while wearing a classic LBD (little black dress) from the American luxury label. Another film festival and awards night — this time, Angelina Jolie’s outfit was kinda disappointing. Just look at that! Just a a plain black blouse and loose-fitting floor-length skirt. Looks real frumpy to me! Or maybe she’s just hiding something under all that folds and looseness, hmm.. Still, we love the PINK! Is Angelina Jolie having a baby girl then?? LOL! Too many speculations, I suggest we stop this nonsense now, hehe!

The Santa Barbara Film Festival was held at the Arlington Theatre in Santa Barbara, California last Saturday night (February 2). Angelina Jolie was recognized for her work in A Mighty Heart, and was honored at this year’s festival with the Outstanding Performance of the Year award. While on the red carpet, Angelina Jolie told AP television,

“To be honest, I just heard that it was a beautiful festival, and one to take seriously.”

And they took you seriously too Ange! Congratulations on the award! =)

Woohoo!! =) Last night was the prestigious Screen Actors Guild Awards where Angelina Jolie was nominated for Best Actress. Unfortunately, she lost to Julie Christie. But I bet she still had more pictures taken than Julie, LOL! Angie wore a flowy chestnut-colored gown (to hide the bump??) taken from Juliana Cairone’s Rare Vintage Collection. Other says it’s a vintage Hermès gown. Oh well, whatever is the dress’ brand, Angelina Jolie looked really gorgeous in it!
