New York magazine recently suggested that PEOPLE magazine used a computer software to modify its latest cover of Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie‘s smiling newborn daughter Vivienne Marcheline Jolie-Pitt. As you can see in the People cover above, 3-week-old Viv was smiling or laughing as she lies next to her twin brother Knox Leon in their mother’s arms. New York magazine has insisted that babies do not smile from exterior stimulation until two to four months of age. Their article said that the picture was Photoshopped or “the babies could have been born earlier than reported to avoid paparazzi attention, as has been rumored. Or Angelina and Brad, predicting their future acting careers, are already lying about the infants’ ages.” However, Sandi Shurgin Werfel, People’s director of public relations, denied the allegation and said,

“Contrary to blog speculation, People did not photo-shop Vivienne Marcheline Jolie-Pitt‘s smile. One can only guess that she is smiling because her parents are Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt.”

LOL! As if Viv “knows” that her parents are the ever-famous Brad and Angie! ;-p

PEOPLE magazine was the one who got the rights to Shiloh Jolie-Pitt’s photos, and now, they got Knox Leon and Vivienne Marcheline Jolie-Pitt’s debut photos as well. But reportedly, the negotiations were tough. A source revealed, “OK! (Magazine) was in a much better position than ever before to be in the game … Price per twin, you’re looking at about $7 million each.” So how come PEOPLE got the exclusive and not OK! mag? Previous reports have speculated that Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt turned down the much higher offer from OK! and accepted less money from People, but a source says: “That’s a lie. Negotiating ended and People won. There was no $20 million offer.” Of course, the mag who won the bidding will no longer refer to Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie as “Brangelina.” The source says, “It’s funny to think they actually took a cue from Jennifer Lopez, who was insisting on (not being called J.Lo). Stranger things have happened.”

While PEOPLE got the North American rights to the first photos of the Jolie-Pitt twins, HELLO! magazine from London got the world exclusive. This is good news for the international fans of Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt since PEOPLE mag is hard to come by outside the US. Inside the HELLO! special issue are 17 pages of intimate Jolie-Pitt family photos, and of course, pictures of Knox Leon and Vivienne Marcheline. The mag is out today so go grab one and send us some scans! LOL! Anyway, here’s an interview snippet of Brad Pitt:

Finally the wait is over! Presenting the lovely fraternal twins of Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt! WOOHOO! ^_^ The widely reported US publication that snagged the North American rights to publish the first photos of Knox Leon and Vivienne Marcheline is none other than PEOPLE — the very same magazine that got the exclusive to Shiloh Jolie-Pitt‘s baby debut (she’s also in this cover! see top right insert photo). Angelina Jolie tells PEOPLE of daily life at the Château Miraval in Provence, France: “It is chaos, but we are managing it and having a wonderful time.”

Fortunately, they already have some household helpers, says Angie: “[Shiloh] and Z pick out [the twins'] clothes and help change and hold them. It’s sweet – they are little mommies.” ^_^

Aussie magazine WHO has just released their annual edition which features their list of the sexiest people on Earth. And this year, the mag has expanded their list from 25 people to 100. And in the list is the beautiful Angelina Jolie! I don’t know her ranking though =) Aside from her, other Hollywood stars that made the cut were Jennifer Aniston (Angie‘s rival for Brad Pitt, LOL), Johnny Depp, and David Beckham. WHO editor Nicky Briger said surprise entries included Rumer Willis, the daughter of Bruce Willis and Demi Moore. WHO’s Red-hot casts include Home and Away and the Perfect Partners include rock-star newlyweds Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz and super-toned Eva Longoria and Tony Parker. Congratulations to everybody!

That’s what US Weekly is saying on their latest cover! Of course, even before she was confirmed pregnant, Angelina Jolie was rumored to be going IVF treatments because it’s hard for her to get pregnant in her very skinny state. And when she and Brad Pitt announced they are having twins, the IVF rumor turned into a wildfire. And now, 2 weeks after she gave birth, it still is a hot topic. A source told US Weekly,

“They conceived through in vitro fertilization. They both desperately wanted more babies soon. [Angie did it so] she wouldn’t have to deal with the stress of trying to get pregnant. She could just knock it out.”

Guess price is not a matter for Brangelina. Apparently, IVF costs around $12,000 per procedure! But hey, with $11 million from Knox Leon and Vivienne Marcheline’s photos, Brad and Angie have more than earned back their “investment” Apparently the chance of having fraternal twins at Angelina Jolie’s age (33 years old) naturally is under 1% while in vitro, the chances are 25%.

For sure, you probably have a copy of People magazine‘s latest issue already. It’s ALL ABOUT THE TWINS after all! Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie‘s twins, that is =) Inside the mag are all the details about Knox Leon Jolie-Pitt and Vivienne Marcheline Jolie-Pitt‘s arrival to our world. Friends of Brangelina were also interviewed with regards to the babies. And if the couple need a night out alone, at least one famous friend has already volunteered to help. Says Angie‘s pal Wyclef Jean,

“I’m willing to babysit for them!”

Though the musician (he partnered with Brangelina for his Yéle Haiti charity) says he has no doubt they can handle their brood of six now that twins Vivienne Marcheline and Knox Léon are here. Wyclef adds,

“They will do well. I have a lot of well wishes for them.”

Meanwhile, Michael Kelly, who appears with Angelina Jolie in the upcoming Clint Eastwood-directed drama The Changeling, shared to People:

“I saw her with kids on-set and she’s just such a wonderful mom. You see her with the kids and it’s like, ‘Yeah, that’s the way it’s supposed to be.’”

That’s Entertainment Weekly magazine for you! And man, did Angelina Jolie gave a very candid interview to them! Yeah, she talked about how’s sex with Brad Pitt! And yes, they’re even doing it while she’s pregnant! LOL! Angie‘s interview was done while she was checking out a window display of Corum watches at the Grand-Hôtel du Cap-Ferrat in the south of France. Here are some delicious excerpts from Angie‘s interview –

On people saying being pregnant is bad for one’s sex life: “No, I think it’s quite the opposite. It’s great for the sex life. It just makes you a lot more creative. So you have fun, and as a woman you’re just so round and full.”

What would you say are the best and worst things about being pregnant? “It’s all just so nice. You just really can’t complain about anything as long as you know the babies are looking healthy. The only thing that’s hard for me now is with twins and having four kids, there’s a lot of the doctor saying ”Stop picking them up as much.” But we’ve worked out a system where Brad just lifts them to me every time they want to come up. I just don’t bend down. I’ll scream, ”Honey!” and he’ll come running and lift them up. Or they climb on chairs, so it’s not as big of a lift. So we’re trying to follow doctor’s orders, but I’m bending them a tiny bit.”

You and Brad aren’t married. How do you refer to each other? “We have that problem all the time. I say ”partner” sometimes. ”Father of my children” is too long. But half the time people refer to us as, ”So, your wife this, your husband that.” We’ve stopped correcting everybody. It’s not a big intentional thing not to marry. We immediately were a family when we became a couple, and children were the priority, and we’re both legally committed to the children. And that seemed to be the right thing.”

In her in-depth interview with Vanity Fair magazine, the pregnant humanitarian-actress talked about the paparazzi, and how the business has changed. Angelina Jolie said,

“It’s our media. People always slow down for a train wreck. It’s like junk food. If you don’t feel good about yourself, you want to read crap about other people, like gossip in high school. You don’t understand why it’s there, but somehow it makes a lot of people feel better.”

Very well-said Ange! And so true as well! With the exception of you and Brad Pitt, look who sells the most in terms of paparazzi photos — the train wrecks in the guise of Britney Spears, Lindsay Lohan, and their ilk! Angelina Jolie then compared the paps before and now,

“In my father’s generation, the product was 80 percent of what you were putting into the world, and your personal life was 20 percent. It now seems that 80 percent of the product I put out is silly, made-up stories and what I’m wearing.”

As for reading the tabloids and looking at paparazzi shots of other celebrities, Angelina Jolie says she’s not into it. Why? Read on..

“I would never do that because I have good friends I would be reading about and I don’t want it even in my head … a negative fairy tale about somebody I like. I don’t want it in my thoughts. I owe it to them not to pay attention. I know it’s not true. Over 95 percent of what’s said about us is entirely untrue.”
