According to a report published in Moviehole, Angelina Jolie is in serious talks with the producers of Sin City for a role in their next installment Sin City 2. The site quotes a high-profile producer friend, as saying that the filmakers are actively trying to get the actress to commit for the sequel.

Jolie was always rumored to play the role of Ava Lord in an adaptation of ‘A Dame to Kill For’ the second installment of Frank Miller’s graphic novel series. The character is a former flame of Dwight McCarthy, played by Clive Owen in the original film. The two ex-lovers are said to cross paths in all the heated, sexy and deadly fashion you’d expect from a gritty noir story.

Nothing is official now, but if the producers have it right, we could see Jolie re-united with her ‘Beyond Borders’ co-star Clive Owen.

Producers of ‘Salt‘ , Angelina Jolie’s forthcoming film have expressed deep concerns over the star’s startling weight loss. According to reports, the already too-gaunt looking star is living on a mixture of lemon juice, cayenne pepper and maple syrup for her role as a Russian spy. Angelina, mother-of-six has been working 15-hour days while filming the espionage thriller Salt and is doing all her own stunts, with a liquid-only detox diet.

Brad Pitt, 45, who moved the family to New York to be closer to Jolie during filming, is also said to be worried about his wife’s fatigued and diminished size. According to sources, the couple have hardly been able to see each other and it has been claimed that Jolie, 33, is living alone at New York’s Waldorf Astoria Hotel while Pitt and their children are renting a house nearby. An insider said:

“Brad and the kids have barely visited the set and Angelina seems very insular. She’s staying on her own, working 15-hour days and the stress is taking its toll. We’re all very concerned. She is looking so small on camera, the producers have had to have a discreet word.”

The Tomb Raider siren recently claimed that her first priority was her family, adding that she was the “happiest mummy” being able to balance her film work with family life.

Jennifer Aniston‘s dream of being the next Bond girl may be shortlived if Angie has her way. According to reports, the Changeling star is showing a keen interest in the role, and may well be reunited with her ‘Tomb Raider‘ co-star Daniel Craig for the next installment of the James Bond movie. Angie is in talks with the Bond producers and both Michael G. Wilson and Barbara Broccoli are interested in getting her into their next Bond venture.

There are even talks that it may well be a recurring role, a prospect that would be financially benefitting for Angie’s growing family. This also seems to be one of the prime reasons that Angie is keen to grab the role as she is looking for a solid financial flow after the drying up of her ‘Tomb Raider’ franchise.

But she is in for stiff competion from her hubby’s ex as it is reported that Jennifer Aniston has also taken part in the screen test for the same role. So which of Brad’s ladies will lure Daniel Craig in the next venture of Bond. Apparently Angie had come close to signing on to Casino Royale, but had to make way for Eva Green due to problems in her schedule and pregnancy at that time.

So our lady definitely has the upper edge !

As much as we enjoy her stunts and stuff, Angelina Jolie‘s action movies aren’t made for us viewers — it’s for her family and six kids when they will be able to watch them with pride when they’re older. The mother of twins said, “I want to make them proud.” She has starred in action blockbusters like Lara Croft: Tombraider, Mr and Mrs Smith and Wanted. Angelina Jolie even insists on doing all her own stunts in the films so her kids will learn that they can do anything. She shares,

“If there’s a chance I will get killed, I will double-check my harness! I’m responsible these days because of my children. But, at the same time, I know that they’ll see one of my stunts when they’re older, so it gives me all the more reason to do cool things now.”

Aww, he’s to sweet for words eh?? Angelina Jolie is really lucky to have him! I really wish them well and that their union will last.. =) Anyway, after appearing in the Venice Film Festival, Brad Pitt is now at the Toronto International Film Festival to attend the gala screening of his new comedy film “Burn After Reading” with George Clooney. The hunky actor plays a knucklehead fitness employee in the movie which will surely make the audiences laugh! Hehe! And when asked what makes him chuckle in real life, Brad Pitt told PEOPLE: “My kids!”
The actor also related that everybody back in France, Angelina Jolie and their six kids, are all alright. Brad Pitt revealed,

“Everyone is healthy. No sleep though. Sleep is something you long for, but it’s alright. We’ll get it.”

His co-star Tilda Swinton (she has twins too!) butted in and advised, “It gets easier! And it’s true.” And what kind of a father does she think Brad is? “He’s fantastic,” said Swinton. Costar John Malkovich chimed in: “He was very doting with his daughter during shooting on a couple of days I was there. He’s very much a present parent.” ^_^

Two movie posters for Angelina Jolie‘s latest action film “Wanted” have been banned by the U.K.’s Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) because the sexy, weapon-baring promotional images glamorize the use of guns and violence and are unsuitable for children. According to reports, 17 complaints from the public were filed against the posters, one of which has Angelina Jolie draped over the hood of a car brandishing guns. In another poster, costar James McAvoy is pointing two pistols directly toward the camera, above what the ASA deemed to be “aspirational text.” The ASA said in a statement:

“We acknowledged most viewers would understand the posters reflected the content of an action film. However, we considered that because the ads featured a glamorous actress, action poses, several images of, or related to guns and aspirational text, they could be seen to glamorize the use of guns and violence.”

Guess she cant get enough of all things French eh?? After all, her darling mom (now deceased) is a mademoiselle ^_^ Anyway, according to reports, Angelina Jolie is keen to further cement the French connection by starring in a French film. The mother of six has been studying the French language for years and apparently told a German magazine that she would like to appear in a French-language production. Angie shared,

“When I can speak (the language), then maybe I’ll audition for a French film. I truly am interested – more and more fantastic films are coming out of Europe.”

You think Angelina Jolie would fit in a French movie? Me thinks so! Her beauty is at par with the classic female looks that the French audience love =) So why hasn’t she worked in Europe already?
