Aside from their usual charitable reasons, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are building one for their daughter Zahara Jolie-Pitt to manage when she grows up. The actress will be making a trip to Ethiopia soon to discuss building the AIDS clinic as part of the work of the Jolie-Pitt Foundation, a charity Angie set up with her partner Brad last 2006 for humanitarian aid around the world. The mother of six told Britain’s Hello magazine:
“We will be building a Tuberculosis/AIDS clinic in Ethiopia. The one we plan for Zahara to take over when she is older.”
Angelina Jolie also hopes to take son Maddox to his native place Cambodia as part of a separate charity trip that the family is planning once newborn twins Knox and Vivienne Marcheline grow up a little. The stunning actress shared,
“The next trip for our foundation will most likely be Asia to follow up on the situation in Burma and our work in Cambodia. The boys have been asking to go there, so we will take them when Knox and Vivienne are a bit older.”
First on Shiloh – according to Star’s latest issue, Brangelina’s first natural born child met up with the twins already and called them Vivi (Vivienne Marcheline) and Nosh (Knox Leon), thus christening them with their new nicknames. CUTE! =) Star also claimed that Angelina Jolie’s C-section delivery was captured on camera.
As for the other 3 kids — US Weekly reports that one day after Vivienne and Knox were born, Maddox, Pax, Zahara and Shiloh arrived at the Lenval hospital with Brad Pitt and one by one the kids presented their mommy Angie with a single flower. Too sweet!! A hospital worker revealed,
“It was a blessed sight. I had a lump in my throat.”
New York Daily News, meanwhile, reports that Brangelina’s decision to name their newest son Knox (after Brad’s grandfather) may have been made at the last minute. A source told the paper that six weeks ago, Angie and Brad ordered a $190 play mat from Plain Mary that was monogrammed with the name Rex Leon Jolie Pitt. A new one emblazoned with Knox is now said to be on the way.
Ever the dutiful husband, the Jesse James hunk was again spotted visiting Angelina Jolie at the Lenval Hospital in Nice, France on Tuesday (July 8). This time Brad Pitt was accompanied into the French facility by 4-year old son, Pax Thien (see photo below), while Maddox looked to be content taking a snooze in the backseat of their car (see photo above).
Pretty soon you’ll have six kids all under the age of 8. Have you thought about how you’re physically going to be able to handle that?
Well, we weren’t expecting twins! So it did shock us, and we jumped to six quickly. But we like a challenge. We really don’t know. His mom and dad are on standby to come out and help. And fortunately we can hire help if we need it, but we’re going to try as we usually do to balance it as well as we can. The only thing for us when a new child comes home is just balancing the others. Our real focus now is: How do we make sure that the babies’ coming is not upsetting to other kids and makes them feel included. They’re old enough to feel included to change diapers themselves, to feed bottles themselves, like if I pump into a bottle. We’re trying to find ways where it can be a fun group thing. But the hard thing is every single day trying to find time for each of them privately. ‘Cause that’s our big thing. With our eldest, we have that last half an hour at night; Shiloh tends to be the first up in the morning. Everybody gets special time so we can make sure we know where they’re at.
What would be your ideal way to spend a free Saturday?
I have a lot of those. Very simple things. On weekends we usually have family sleep. We always have one night a week where everybody stays up late, watches a movie, and stays in our bed. We have, like, a slumber party.
Is there intense competition among the kids as to who sleeps where?
Yeah, but it’s funny: The boys tend to want to be near Mommy [Angelina Jolie] and the girls tend to want to be near Daddy [Brad Pitt]. So it works out nicely.
What did you make of all the brouhaha over Jack Black’s spilling that you were having twins on the Today show?
Poor Jack! Immediately when he saw Brad, he apologized. But we both told him very clearly that we had only waited because, as you do with any baby, but especially twins, you wait until all results are in on their health, and that we were past that point and if somebody had asked me directly, I would have said yes. So he didn’t do anything but take the heat himself.
The sexy dad treated his 6-year-old Maddox and 4-year-old Pax Thien with some quality time high up in the air. They were spotted departing from the Monaco Heliport, joined by an older gentleman whom they picked up on their way to Monaco. I can’t see Maddox though, just Pax and Brad!
Sure, we’ve seen their photos — but did you know what Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie and their 3 kids did while cavorting in the fine sand of the French beach? Here’s what E! News reported,
“It was a lovely sunny day and so they all went and hung out on the beach like regular people. Pax was obsessed with catching crabs and that’s what [he], Brad and some local kids did while Angie spoke to The Edge.”
The source of E! News further adds that the Jolie-Pitt family later paid a visit to fellow do-gooder Bono, who, like his band mate, has a house in the area. People.com meanwhile reports that aside from celebrity visits, the Brangelina and their brood was as normal as the rest of us. A mole tells People,
“They’re doing everything you and I might be doing. Eating, taking naps and swimming in the pool.”
Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie were spotted taking their two (three?) kids out to the beach last Sunday (May 4). Leaving Shiloh back home, the celebrity couple totted Pax and Zahara along the French seaside’s rugged terrain. They were accompanied by U2 rocker David Howell Evans (aka The Edge) who lives near there. I don’t see Maddox but reports say he was there too. And while Angelina and Zahara found a perch to rest, Brad and The Edge wandered off, taking the boys to play near the rocky shoreline. Enjoy the photos! =)

And that makes Maddox, Pax, Zahara and Shiloh very happy kids! =) Unlike other celebrities who frown on unhealthy foods and insist on only the finest foods for their little ones, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie let their kids dive into whatever candy and snacks they desire. According to Life & Style’s insider,
“If Zahara wants ice cream for breakfast, she’ll get it.”
The reason for this fastfood and junkfood fixation? It’s coz Brad and Angie don’t want nannies and chefs taking care of their brood. Unfortunately for the celebrity couple, they can’t cook. The source revealed,
“They like to take care of the kids on their own. But they can’t cook, so they look for food that comes out of a box and doesn’t have to be cooked — and the kids just love fried foods.”
LOL! Now that sounds stupid! A friend of the famous couple, however, has a more logical take on the Jolie-Pitt kids‘ junkfood eating habits –
“Brad and Angelina work really hard at letting their kids be normal. That means they let them do stuff we all did as kids, like eat chocolate or scarf down a bag of chips.”
