Bits and pieces of Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie’s interviews with People and Hello magazines are trickling down the internet. The latest I picked up was how surprised Brad was with his twins‘ unique looks. The “Assasination of Jesse James” actor said,

“I dare to say that Vivienne is proving to resemble Angelina in spirit, attitude and physicality. She is quite elegant like her mother. And Knox – he’s a bit of me. He likes music like his dad. But when he was born he looked like Vladimir Putin!”

LOL! Vladimir Putin indeed! In case you don’t know, Mr. Putin is the current Russian president. Maybe Knox had a pointed nose that’s why daddy Brad Pitt thought he looked like Mr. Putin? I can’t tell it with these babies — they all look the same to me! As for Angelina Jolie, she revealed how she passed the time when she was in hospital on bedrest for the last two weeks of her pregnancy. The actress shared,

“Brad and the kids came a few nights each week and spent the night. So we never went too long without seeing each other. I also watched ‘The War’ by Kevin Burns. I figured it would be the only chance I had to watch a 15-hour documentary!”

That’s what US Weekly is saying on their latest cover! Of course, even before she was confirmed pregnant, Angelina Jolie was rumored to be going IVF treatments because it’s hard for her to get pregnant in her very skinny state. And when she and Brad Pitt announced they are having twins, the IVF rumor turned into a wildfire. And now, 2 weeks after she gave birth, it still is a hot topic. A source told US Weekly,

“They conceived through in vitro fertilization. They both desperately wanted more babies soon. [Angie did it so] she wouldn’t have to deal with the stress of trying to get pregnant. She could just knock it out.”

Guess price is not a matter for Brangelina. Apparently, IVF costs around $12,000 per procedure! But hey, with $11 million from Knox Leon and Vivienne Marcheline’s photos, Brad and Angie have more than earned back their “investment” Apparently the chance of having fraternal twins at Angelina Jolie’s age (33 years old) naturally is under 1% while in vitro, the chances are 25%.

According to reports, the actress has left Lenval hospital in Nice, France where she gave birth to twins last week. The hospital in the southern France has said in a statement on its website:

“Angelina Jolie left the clinic Santa Maria of Foundation Lenval around 4AM on July 19 with her babies, Knox Leon and Vivienne Marcheline. The mother and her babies are doing very well.”

The Fondation Lenval also thanked the Jolie-Pitt family for choosing the hospital. It also thanked the hospital staff “for the attention and care they paid to the family and the journalists around the hospital who did their best to respect their privacy.” According to E! News, Dr. Sussman made sure Angelina Jolie remained in the hospital until she was 100 percent back in the pink. A source revealed,

“Angelina has four young and lively children at home and he [the doctor] suspects the temptation to get up out of bed and play with them will overwhelm her. He knows how much she misses the other children, but he feels that she will benefit from a few extra days’ rest. They’re being very well cared for.”

And that’s according to the mayor of Nice, Christian Estrosi. He revealed that after the birth of his beautiful baby twins, Brad Pitt met with him and kept repeating to him, “I’m the happiest father ever.” How sweet!! =) The twins, Knox Leon and Vivienne Marcheline, were born Saturday at the Fondation Lenval hospital in Nice, France. According to the local newspaper Nice-Matin, the babies spent Saturday night in Angie’s room and she took care of them by herself. Mayor Christian Estrosi, who visited Brad and Angelina Jolie in their hospital room, also told Nice-Matin,

“[Brad] told me we chose one of the best hospitals in the world, one of the best doctors, one of the best medical teams. And also the most beautiful bay in the world.”

As for Angie‘s recovery and her twins, Dr. Michel Sussmann has updated People that “They are all very well, very well. Everything is okay.”

The documents also showed the Mayor’s signature, as well as Brad Pitt’s initials, the letters WBP representing his full name, William Bradley Pitt. The mayor entered the hospital at 3:24 p.m. last Sunday to oversee the signing, telling PEOPLE, “It’s a pride to Nice and all its citizens.” Knox is the 3,702 registered birth certificate in Nice for 2008. In welcoming the twins, Estrosi told reporters,

“On behalf of the inhabitants of Nice, I congratulate the happy parents, the most famous couple of the world who have chosen our city for this happy event. I also congratulate the four brothers and sister of the newborns who are [history won't forget it] real ‘Niçois’ (‘citizens of Nice’).”

On Brad and Angie during the labor and delivery: “[They] were talking, they were together. It was an epidural, so [Angelina] was awake and speaking and laughing. They were happy.”

On Brad never leaving Angie’s side: “He was my assistant! [He even cut the babies’ umbilical cords!] He was … perfectly calm, totally determined, very pleased to be at the birth of his children, very moved and very emotional.”

On the delivery in general: “Absolutely no problems. The babies are fine. The babies are with the mother and father and they are fine.”

On when Angie and the babies will leave the hospital: “I don’t know. She will stay for a few days. You know, in Europe it isn’t like in the United States, where the patients go home after three days. They will stay a bit longer until everything is okay.”

WOW! It’s the coolest celebrity news ever! =) The tabloids got it right (and wrong!) — Angelina Jolie did have fraternal twins — but not two girls as they widely reported. Instead the Jolie-Pitts got a boy and a girl! That gives them a total of 3 boys and 3 girls, perfect! According to PEOPLE, Brad Pitt was at Angelina Jolie‘s side as she gave birth to a son and daughter last Saturday at the Fondation Lenval hospital in Nice, France. Dr. Michel Sussmann, the actress’ doctor, said last Sunday:

“The babies are doing well. The operation went just perfectly. Angelina is in very good spirits. Brad Pitt was at her side. He was there and all was well. The mother and father are very, very happy!”

Earlier, the Nice-Matin newspaper reported that Angelina Jolie gave birth to a boy, Knox Leon, and a girl, Vivienne Marcheline, by Cesarean section on Saturday night. Knox weighed 5.03 lbs, and Vivienne 5 lbs. Dr. Sussmann confirmed confirmed all these details. Congratulations to the Jolie-Pitt family! Let the media storm begin! LOL

That’s what one tabloid is reporting! A source told InTouch,

“I think she’s [Angelina Jolie] in meltdown mode. She’s been getting upset if there’s not enough ice in her glass … She’s not walking around anymore. She doesn’t even take a shower early in the morning. She just stays in bed, talking on her phone, typing on her computer, reading magazines and watching TV.”

Well, if you’re having twins and the paparazzi is stalking you and your family, you’ll probably melt down too. Tsk! Poor Angie! The good thing is, the actress “completely” lights up during visits from Brad Pitt and kids Shiloh, 2, Zahara, 3, Pax, 4, and Maddox, 6. Sweet! =) OK! magazine, on the other hand, reports that Jane Seymour (also has twins!) is giving unsolicited advice to Angelina Jolie. She has apparently said,

“My advice to her is to put some weight on. I think she needs to keep putting on weight so she can feed those babies. I don’t think she should think twice. She hasn’t put on enough weight.”

That’s what TMZ is reporting! Truly, the world has gone mad. LOL! The bidding for the exclusive photos of the Jolie-Pitt twins has apparently reached an unprecedented $16 million, far exceeding the estimated $4 million that Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie received from People magazine for pictures of Shiloh shortly after her birth in May 2006. Of course, that magazine issue sold more than enough for People to recoup their investment. Will the mag win again the bidding this time? Stay tuned!

Apart from the HUGE HUGE HUGE cash they will be receiving, the celebrity couple also has a request to the mag who will win. Sources tell TMZ that use of the nickname Brangelina will be strictly forbidden under terms of the deal. Reportedly, they hate the label especially Angelina Jolie, who is currently on bed rest in a paparazzi-proof room at Lenval Hospital in France. I wonder why they hate the moniker! I find it cute!

A few days ago, photos of a pregnant lady showing off her big belly circulated in the internet (that’s one of them above). It was purported to be Angelina Jolie saying that she is still pregnant and have not yet given birth as was rumored when she was admitted to the Lenval Hospital in Nice, France. But now, a spokesperson from the hospital denied it was Angie. According to an inside source, the hospital has coated the windows of the actress’ room with a special insulating material that camera lenses cannot penetrate. The hospital spokesperson told press,

“It is impossible to see into Mr. Brad Pitt and Mrs. Angelina Jolie’s room. So any pictures released are either posed fakes set up by paparazzi or they are pictures of other patients. We hope this is clearly understood out of respect for all patients in this clinic.”
