If you haven’t heard, the celebrity supercouple recently moved into the Miraval Estate villa in the French hamlet of Correns, in the Provence region. And the reports that Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt bought the charming place are NOT true. They just rented the castle for 3 years (from American businessman Tom Bove) according to the town’s mayor and a local inn owner. Mayor Michael Latz trumpets Correns as France’s first town where all locally grown produce is organic — and his villagers teem with pride about that reputation, and seem mostly bemused about the invasion of Hollywood buzz. He apparently said,

“I like to joke that I’m happy to be able to contribute to the image of Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt, because Correns is so well known.”

The Jolie-Pitt family is “in the process of moving in”. The mayor also said he hadn’t met them and knew nothing about whether Angie had given birth or not. He said,

“They are people who I hope will live normally here. I would think the choice of Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie … is tied to the quality of life in Correns.”

Latz also rejected speculation about the Hollywood couple’s imminent wedding, and said that under French law they’d need to alert local authorities if they want to officially tie the knot here.

“Entertainment Tonight” first reported last Friday in their website that the very pregnant actress had given birth in France. The TV show stood by its story Friday night, with host Mary Hart saying on the air that “just this morning, a source who says she was inside the delivery room tells us yes, the babies were born and yes, mother [Angelina Jolie] and babies are fine.” Brangelina apparently named their twin girls ISLA (pronounced eye-la) MARCHELINE (after Angie’s mom) and AMELIE JANE (after Brad’s mom). The surprise announcement caused a major commotion all over the internet over the weekend, but the excitement was doused when Brad Pitt‘s manager, Cynthia Pett-Dante, denied the birthing. She told The Associated Press:

“We have no comment except the story is not true.”

Soon after ET’s report, several celebrity news outlets reported the story was false. A spokeswoman for “Entertainment Tonight” did not return a call for comment Friday. Angelina Jolie has said previously that her twins are due in August. But since she was carrying twins, she might be due anytime, hence her standby medical team. In southern France, where locals say the Jolie-Pitt family recently moved, officials at the Etoile Maternite Catholique de Provence in Aix-en-Provence, one of the region’s top maternity clinics, said that Angelina Jolie had not been there and did not appear scheduled to come. Guess the waiting game is still one!

It’s been a whirlwind week for the pregnant actress while promoting her two films in the Cannes Festival. So, how does someone carrying two more persons feel about working while pregnant? Here’s Angelina Jolie‘s take on that stressful work schedule:

“Yeah, I’m OK, so far I’m just fine. Everybody said I didn’t have to come, but I was feeling all right. It’s not such hard work. I’m sitting and talking a lot and everybody is being nice to me. If anything, being pregnant and not working I’ve had more time to read and study, to do all those things that I don’t when I’m working.”

Angelina Jolie is such a trooper isn’t she?? =) In fact, she feels lucky being a movie star, even if her schedule is chaotic. Angie says of her hectic acting career,

“I’m very, very lucky. A lot of mothers don’t have a job where they can just work a few months in a year and then come out for two days for a press conference. My schedule is very small in comparison when it comes to hours so I can afford to spend as much time as possible with my children … And this year I’m taking off completely for the family.”

Unisex baby stuff! =) Last week, the Jolie-Pitt family (sans Zahara and Pax Thien) stopped into a Bonpoint boutique in Paris to purchase some toys, and reportedly a few baby items for Brangelina‘s upcoming twins. The twins are rumored to be fraternal girls but Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie apparently confided to a shop staffer they don’t want to know the sex of the twins. TWINS what?? Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie‘s of course! =) The upcoming bundles of joy of the world’s sexiest celebrity couple got a taste of the Hollywood limelight when their pregnant mom attended the screening of Kung Fu Panda in the Cannes Festival last Thursday. According to Angie, one of the twin was quiet, but the other one was moving around to the movie‘s music. In the animated adventure, the pregnant actress does one of the voices – she’s a martial arts tigress who helps a fat and friendly panda, voiced by Jack Black, learn his kung fu moves. Angelina Jolie shared last Friday morning,

“It’s funny to be doing all this and feeling movement.”

As revealed last week, the pregnant actess will have twins on August 29, a date given out by Jack Black, who didn’t know it was a secret. He apparently asked after he spilled the beans earlier this week, “Hadn’t everyone known that she was having twins? Was that a revelation? Big deal. Get over it.” LOL! Anyway, Angelina Jolie said she took the role in Kung Fu Panda partly because two of her adopted children are Asian and the movie is set in China, whose culture and history are important in her household. She shared,

“Then I got to be a cool tiger, so I impressed my children.”

Being a celebrity, expect that everything you do is scrutinized — even what you’re eating! In the case of Angelina Jolie, her pregnancy diet has been the subject of several tabloid write-ups. She was previously reported to be eating lots of junkfood like “onion rings with mustard and a box of chocolates in the same sitting!” A source also previously revealed that Angelina Jolie loves “bars that are dark chocolate and cinnamon mixed with Mexican chillies for an added kick.” And her latest diet? Piling up on carbo and fats! A source told Britain’s Star magazine:

“She ate everything in sight. Penne arrabiata and two starters, as well as several bread rolls. She also tucked into profiteroles for dessert – which are her favourite – and took an apple pie to go.”

And this all happened while Angelina Jolie was having a meal out at the Hollywood restaurant Marino. Man, there’s no privacy these days huh??

Angelina Jolie recently confirmed that she and partner Brad Pitt are expecting twins later in the year, and guess who was happy with the news? No, not Jennifer Aniston! Hehe! Billy Bob Thornton, who Angie divorced 5 years ago, reportedly told OK! Magazine that he’s thrilled with her twin pregnancy. He said,

“I think she was always meant to be a mother in so many ways. I’m just so happy for her. I’m happy for the kids to have a mother like her and a father like him [Brad Pitt].”

Besides praising her for motherhood, Billy Bob also praised Angelina Jolie for her charity and humanitarian efforts. He said, “I’m astounded that somebody has that kind of passion and that much energy for something that actually does affect people and help people out.” The two first met on the set of 1999 movie Pushing Tin and they married in 2000. Yeah, Angie has a penchant for marrying her co-stars!

Last Wednesday, on Cannes, the glowing Angelina Jolie confirmed the rumor that she’s and Brad Pitt are having twins. “Today” show’s Natalie Morales interviewed the very pregnant actress along with Jack Black while promoting their new Dreamworks animated film, “Kung Fu Panda” on the said television show. It was the comedian who first “announced” the twins news and then Angelina Jolie just confirmed what Jack Black said. Here’s the transcript of their exciting interview with Natalie Morales –

“You’re gonna have as many as (the) ‘Brady Bunch’ when you have these,” Jack joked about Angie’s huge belly.

“It’s confirmed? Is it two?”, Natalie asked.

“Yeah, yeah, we’ve confirmed that already,” Angelina Jolie responded. “Well, Jack’s just confirmed it actually.”

“Is that true?”, Jack said jokingly.

“Yeah, you did,” Angie replied.

“Sorry,” Jack concluded.

“So you’re having twins?”, Natalie asked, as the pregnant actress nodded with a ‘yes.’

“Do you know the sexes of the babies”, Natalie asked. “Or, are you keeping that private?”

“We would like to keep that private,” Angelina Jolie said.

“Are you going to stay here in France to deliver?”, Natalie also asked at one point.

“Possibly,” Angelina responded.

Guess that’s what you get by hanging around the US Military facilities and war-torn areas! Hehe! According to reports, Angelina Jolie will use the precision and discipline she learned from the army as she prepares for the birth of her two baby girls. Apparently there’s a crack medical team and a top-notch helicopter pilot secretly working behind the scenes to ensure Angelina Jolie delivers her twins without a hitch.

The sources claim that the A-team is on 24-hour standby duty while the pregnant actress, Brad Pitt and their rainbow family hunkered down on the French Riviera villa owned Microsoft billionaire Paul Allen. The sources further revealed that Angelina Jolie‘s due date is reportedly not until July, those close to her expect she’ll give birth earlier. Her personal physician has already jetted in from California to join a midwife, two nannies and a military-trained helicopter pilot.

The Enquirer reports that the pilot has already flown test runs to the Princess Grace Hospital in Monaco, just four minutes away. The said hospital has state-of-the-art maternity facilities. Still, it may not be enough so there are two other hospitals are also on on call in case of emergency – a maternity unit in Antibes and another hospital near Nice. Man, all this for Angelina Jolie?? Way cool!

Last March, it was widely reported that Angelina Jolie will be having fraternal twins. We even posted about it HERE. But now, the tune has changed — according to Star Magazine, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie will be adding not a boy and a girl but TWO GIRLS to their growing brood in July! A family insider revealed,

“Brad can’t wait — he absolutely adores little girls. And Angelina just loves seeing him and the other kids so excited and happy.”

Aww! Isn’t that sweet?? =) The bad news: Angelina Jolie is having late pregnancy complications. One source related a disturbing event,

“Angie got out of bed and was halfway across the room when she passed out and fell. Brad heard her hit the floor — hard — and he rushed to her side. She came around pretty quickly, and the medical team that has been traveling with her, a doctor and a nurse, got her back into bed and started checking her vitals.”
