Angelina Jolie has reportedly collapsed on the sets of her forthcoming film ‘Salt‘ , after complaining of dizzy spells. Her fragile appearance had recently caused concerns for the producers and they had asked her to put on weight. Her recent weight loss is causing concerns for the producers regarding her health.
But it seems Angelina may be just too sad to eat. A friend told Now Magazine:

‘She never eats properly when she’s upset,’ says a friend. ‘Food is the last thing on her mind. She’ll ignore breakfast, pick at lunch and skip dinner. Once in a while she’ll grab a snack, but nothing substantial.’

She is also said to be stressed in an effort to balance her work and family life. Angelina is also constantly tired because the film, in which she plays the role of a spy demands a lot of physical activity involving action scenes. According to a source:

‘It all got too much for Angelina. She collapsed between takes, complaining of shortness of breath and dizzy spells.To be fair, it was after she’d filmed a strenuous scene in which she ran around the set, but it was still shocking to see her crumble. There was something very wrong with her fitness levels if she couldn’t handle a couple of action scenes.’

Angelina’s collapse is the latest in a series of setbacks for the Changeling star, who’s already under stress because of her hectic family life and work schedule. This is also said to be causing tiffs in her relationship with Brad.

Angie is summarized as an “independent bundle of energy” by old family friend Charles Eastman, 79, who shot her 1997 photographs. The family can be seen in this picture celebrating the 4th brithday of her brother James Haven. When Jolie’s parents separated, her mother Marcheline Bertrand raised both Jolie and her brother James.

Jolie regularly used to watch movies with her mother Marcheline, who is said to have devoted her life to the kids, according to Charles Eastman. Jolie attributes her interest in acting because of watching movies with her mother.

However, she is said to have shared an estranged realtionship with her father Jon Voight and had also dropped the ‘Voight’ from her name. Charles Easton says about the photograph when Jolie, was 23 months old:

“She was kind of in the background that day, After all, who knew she was going to grow up to be Angelina Jolie?”

Guess what links Angie and Jenniffer together. Well, yes there’s Brad Pitt, but there is also the Cyrus connection. According to reports, both Jennifer and Angie are role models for Miley Cyrus, as claimed by the Hannah Montana star.

The 16 year old, admits that she is a huge fan of both Angelina Jolie and Jennifer Aniston and thinks highly about them. Speaking to Glamour,the Hannah Montana star revealed that she idolizes both the actresses for their individual styles and character. She said:

“Jennifer Aniston can put on a plain black dress, with plain make-up and hair, and look so stunning. Angelina always looks so comfortable in her own skin. She’s also changed, going from wild child to being a mum and having a normal life,

“And Jennifer Aniston bounced back after her divorce. If anything like that ever happens to me, I’m like, ‘Pull a Jennifer, Miley!’ She is so classy.”

Well, it certainly seems like you just can’t separate Angie and Jennifer.

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt are planning to raise their own slumdog millionaire, after reports revealed about the couple’s plans to adopt an Indian child. She and husband Brad, 45, already have three adopted children: Maddox, eight, from Cambodia; Pax, five, from Vietnam and Zahara, four, from Ethiopia.

The couple had also visited an orphanage during their last visit to India in November 2006, where they spent more than an hour, distributing toys and meeting children. They also have three biological kids — Shiloh, two, and eight-month-old twins Vivienne and Knox.

Angie had met Slumdog Millionaire child stars Azharuddin and Rubina Ali, nine, backstage in Los Angeles after Slumdog won eight Oscars. To a query asked by Azharuddin as to whether Angie was planning to raise an Indian orphan, Angelina is reported to have said:

“Well, I’ll let you into a little secret, we will soon.”

According to reports, Angelina Jolie is planning to donate a generous amount to octo-mom Nadya Suleman. Nadya -the mother of fourteen, has been slammed for ‘pimping out’ her octuplets in the press, reportedly prompting several sponsors to withdraw their support.

The Changeling star - who raises six children herself, with partner Brad Pitt - is said to be extremely concerned about Suleman and her 14 children and is considering helping the family out financially. According to a source for Star Magazine:

“Angelina is worried about the best interests of the kids. As a mom of six, she knows how chaotic and costly raising a big family can be.”

However Angie also seems to be having her own concerns about the situation as well. The source added:

“She doesn’t necessarily approve of Nadya, and she doesn’t want to turn the situation into even more of a circus.”

Nadya has recently also put down claims that she was undergoing plastic surgery to look like Angelina.

Producers of ‘Salt‘ , Angelina Jolie’s forthcoming film have expressed deep concerns over the star’s startling weight loss. According to reports, the already too-gaunt looking star is living on a mixture of lemon juice, cayenne pepper and maple syrup for her role as a Russian spy. Angelina, mother-of-six has been working 15-hour days while filming the espionage thriller Salt and is doing all her own stunts, with a liquid-only detox diet.

Brad Pitt, 45, who moved the family to New York to be closer to Jolie during filming, is also said to be worried about his wife’s fatigued and diminished size. According to sources, the couple have hardly been able to see each other and it has been claimed that Jolie, 33, is living alone at New York’s Waldorf Astoria Hotel while Pitt and their children are renting a house nearby. An insider said:

“Brad and the kids have barely visited the set and Angelina seems very insular. She’s staying on her own, working 15-hour days and the stress is taking its toll. We’re all very concerned. She is looking so small on camera, the producers have had to have a discreet word.”

The Tomb Raider siren recently claimed that her first priority was her family, adding that she was the “happiest mummy” being able to balance her film work with family life.

A TV advert for the DVD release of Angelina Jolie’s action blockbuster Wanted has been banned in the UK for glorifying violence and the use of guns. One viewer complained that the advert portrayed guns in a glamorous fashion and was unfit to be shown early on a Saturday morning, when kids are watching.

The Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) has concluded that the advert could never be shown again in its current form ruling that the ad gave the impression that “using guns was sexy and glamorous”.

The ad includes a voice-over describing the film as “the coolest movie of the year” as well as describing Jolie’s performance as “blazingly sexy”. It shows Jolie kissing co-star James McAvoy during a high-speed car chase, and both firing guns towards the viewer.

Universal Pictures have however defended the advert, claiming the “fantastical” nature of the comic book source material was reflected in the ad. The studio was quoted as saying:

“Many other action films, which had strong male leads, had not been complained about, [Universal believes] some people did not like to see a woman in a strong lead role and that was the reason they objected to the ad, rather than because they had concerns about violence.”

Jennifer Aniston’s dream of being the next Bond girl may be shortlived if Angie has her way. According to reports, the Changeling star is showing a keen interest in the role, and may well be reunited with her ‘Tomb Raider‘ co-star Daniel Craig for the next installment of the James Bond movie. Angie is in talks with the Bond producers and both Michael G. Wilson and Barbara Broccoli are interested in getting her into their next Bond venture.

There are even talks that it may well be a recurring role, a prospect that would be financially benefitting for Angie’s growing family. This also seems to be one of the prime reasons that Angie is keen to grab the role as she is looking for a solid financial flow after the drying up of her ‘Tomb Raider’ franchise.

But she is in for stiff competion from her hubby’s ex as it is reported that Jennifer Aniston has also taken part in the screen test for the same role. So which of Brad’s ladies will lure Daniel Craig in the next venture of Bond. Apparently Angie had come close to signing on to Casino Royale, but had to make way for Eva Green due to problems in her schedule and pregnancy at that time.

A new poll has confirmed that Angie is indeed the yummiest mum around. The stunning actress topped the Mother’s Day poll conducted by MSN to beat a long list of Hollywood A-listers, including Halle Berry and Reese Witherspoon. In another poll conducted by lovefilm.com she also pipped real life love rival Jennifer Aniston to the title.

The star along with partner Brad Pitt plays parents to six children, three of whom she adopted. Angie gave birth to twins, a girl named Vivienne Marcheline and a boy named Knox Leon on July 2008 in France.

In the lovefilm.com poll Angie took nearly one in five of the votes with 19 per cent, just one per cent more than Aniston for her maternal role in Marley And Me. Angie swept the MSN poll with 30% of the votes in her favor. The stunning Hale Berry and Reese Witherspoon were placed second and third respectively.

An unhappy fan desperate to see Angelina Jolie has threatened to sue a children’s charity for not keeping an agreement to meet the actress. The unnamed man is demanding the charity pay up a substantial sum after a generous donation of $30,000 didn’t result in the promised dream come true meeting with the Changeling star.

The once in a lifetime opportunity to meet Angie was auctioned off two years ago by the Lili Claire Foundation which helps children with neurogenetic conditions. According to the fan, the charity had used the star’s name for the bid.

The lawsuit claims, that the Lili Claire foundation has failed to honour the 2007 deal to set up a chance to meet the star. If the man wins his case he will pocket his $30,000 donation and an additional amount for damages.

Meanwhile, Angelina is facing her own more personal woes as co-stars on the set of Salt have begun to express their concerns over the actress’ gaunt looks.
